im kinda glad my entry got lost earlier tonight because now ive got better stuff to write about.

overdue thanks to parsley for the arvianna gif at the top of this page. thanks.

i watched o canada tonight on cartoon network. and the first clip was about two sisters who live on an island. it was very dark, and few lines were used to show the women. but apparently one of them, viola?, was a writer and a fan of her stories swam to the island to meet her and get her autograph. thats the main plot.

but the details give you the real story. marie took care of viola, brushed her hair, made her coffee, cleaned for her. in the beginning, before you can see their faces, she tells viola to look in a mirror. viola says she sees a difference, but marie says nothing has changed. when the man comes in, marie wants to keep viola locked up. then you see violas face is horribly scarred and disfigured. marie makes some subtley degrading comments to viola, and some not so subtle, like "youre a freak!"

viola ends up going just outside the door to sign the mans book. marie locks her out, then lets her back in. but viola doesnt want marie to close the door again. instead, marie places her rocking chair in the doorway, facing inside the house. viola goes back to her computer, typing. and i couldnt help but think, what will viola write now? will it be changed, now that there is a crack in the protective shield marie had created around viola? will it be the same? why does marie do this? is she jealous of violas writing talents?

wow, that was a cool cartoon.

i think there was something else i wanted to write about, but i disremember what it was.

so before i go to bed tonight, i will listen to mr tambourine man. even though it isnt the original version. nick has told me this is a magic song and i remember the advice he gave me ((other than breathe)) to put that record on and make sure it is the last thing i hear before i go to bed. and the magic record will make it better. whatever my wish is.
