09 August 2004 21:40 hi there. no, i'm not dead. i'm just removed from civilization. im living out a dream. im doing service as a volunteer teacher at a small catholic school in rural new mexico, just outside the jicarilla apache reservation. the land is beautiful. my basic needs of food, shelter, and internet access are all taken care of by the school. and i can be proud knowing that im doing something so completely worthwhile. updates to follow as long as the geosynchronous satellite continues to behave. |
