it really does not feel like a friday. wednesday i had so much energy but it seems to have waned since then. oh well, im still a lot more active than i have been at other times. it just doesnt feel like a friday since i have an exam, a final no less, in about three hours.

and nah, im not stressing. im doing everything possible not to stress in fact. i put on music that makes me want to sing along and get up and dance and jump around the rooom with the volume all the way up. yes, kate, im listening to the mix tape you gave me for graduation. i can never thank you enough for this tape, its gotten me through some really great times and some really nasty times. ive made myself a weak cup of coffee with a generous helping of hot chocolate mix for taste. not a strong cup, because i dont want to make myself nervous or jumpy, just enough caffeine to counteract any headaches i migh have coming on. and how appropriate, i got a mini collage from laura in the mail today, featuring a cup of coffee. how perfect! and im just gonna sit here and conduct small business around my room, sending out or responding to emails, cleaning up my desk, etc.

its fairly certain that im moving off campus next year. elise and i are surely going to do it, and maybe kelly too. my mom just seems concerned that i get a nice place, she likes the assurance of living in the dorms. she was bringing up points like making sure ill have the van, which is really secondary to actually having a place to live. and she brought up the issue of furniture too, but she talked herself through that one actually, realizing that since she lives in a house by herself and recently got all new dishes and pots and pans, that theres certainly more than enough left for me to take to school. just lying around already weve got the orange armchairs, two or three twin size beds, a desk, and a chest of drawers. besides a bed and a desk, how much else would i really need?
