A Physicist's Guide to Smoked Gouda

yeah. so i just finished my first of twenty cute little one page reflections for theology class. i hated writing one page reflections last year in history, but that was history. i didnt really like writing for history because i felt like i was just writing about what someone else had already studied and written about, even if i used a primary source. its just not the same as writing for a literature class, or even a philosophy class. philosophy is just writing in logic. theology now, im not so sure about. this first reflection was on what is theology and why should we study it. i just banged out a page about how studying a system of faith beliefs can aide in personal development, and threw in some stuff on how i dont yet understand how something so subjective can be studied very systematically. but i guess i will find out wont i?

math class is going to be a lot of work and physics III is going to be hard, but fun. i like alejandro already. programming is going to be a little boring i think, though i found out barabasi is from hungary. my math TA is from romania. mechanics is what really scares me though. ooooh. shephard is such a noninventive old man it seems like. and he thinks we live in the chem phys library. why dont we just set up cots in the upstairs and make it the second coed dorm on campus after bond hall, the home of the architects? on the other hand, i think my theology professor believes we live in the reserve room of the main library. i couldnt do my reading for the reflection tonight because when i went to the bookstore this morning they only had two of the books i would need for theo. im so glad im taking honors theo, anyway. its a lot of stuff that i learned in high school religion classes, but im sure page will make it cool. he already compared our huge discussion class to the oprah show, and hes got a voice listening to which i could never fall asleep. ((yes i rearranged that sentence to avoid ending with a preposition))

besides that, band is going well, im in rank 33 with alan, becki, and tomcik. alans always gone though....so much for having a responsible rank leader. the drills not too hard at all, the only real problem is going to be getting the music down. tonight we did the easy one and im still having problems...but weve got three weeks to get this one right. i should be fine, and beckis offered practice with me as well. who knows if well find time to, though. i also went to brass ensemble today, and found out i can play nothing. hahahaha.

ok, my eyes are starting to refuse to focus on things, bed is a must now.
