so we got into a discussion on paganism. she called them hedonistic. Morgan corrected her, giving the roots of the ideas and i supplemented with a simple rule: an' it harm none, do as ye will. i had to repeat it three times and she still didnt understand what i said.

then she launched into HER interpretation of it, using marijuana as an example. saying that some people think its okay to do because its not hurting anyone. ::rolls her eyes:: and the teachings of Jesus Christ changed all that? i swear, that class is utterly ridiculous. she told us once that things are not open to interpretation in her class room because the world is not open to interpretation. im sorry, but religion seems to me to be one of the topics that should be most open to interpretation. and i cant believe that nothing outside her classroom is open to interpretation either.

anyway, one point shes wrong on is that an' it harm none includes self, that one is not to harm ones self, as one would in getting fried on drugs. secondly, when someone does get fried, it does hurt their friends. and this is the point im getting to.

i used to think chris was cool. sure his jokes got out of hand now and then, but he was a pretty cool guy. and when he acted in the one act play and everything, i was so proud of him, he did such an awesome job. and he gives good hugs too, he would always give me a "spontaneous hug"

i cant stand to do that anymore. hes gotten too much into marijuana and im afraid hell end up burnt out or something. lately hes more arrogant than usual (for a trumpet), making stupid assumtions and saying rude things to me, and not paying attention and having to explain things to him again and again and he wont really listen because he thinks he knows it anyway. ::sighs:: when i invited him to my party after cotillion he told me that he and ryan were going to get baked there . . . no way would i stand for that. i told my dad about it and told chris that if they plan to do that they might as well not come. so they smoked up in an abandoned parking lot before the dance.
