2003-05-01 12:19 p.m. i slept on the couch last night becuase i really really wanted to. i felt a real need to get back to my nesting habits but i cant really do that in my bed here cause its gotten pretty hard and lumpy and i only have one comforter, not really enough to nest in. so i slept on the couch, all curled up an cozy and had many fascinating dreams. today is mayday, london's annual day of anti-capitalist protest and riot. and weve been warned against possible violence occuring today. a lot of monuments are boarded up against vandalism and a lot of coporations which can be seen as capitalist symbols are closed today. and the nd flag is not flying above our classroom building, i would guess in their normal state of oversensitivty to anti-american feeling, and feeling threatened by such an attack on their conservative, consumeristic, capitalist way of life. bah. deal with it, seriously. your way is not the only way. |
