its so weird being twenty and watching all of your friends turn twentyone. one of the trumpets turned twentyone today, and he invited all of the other trumpets who are twentyone to go out to a bar with him to celebrate. and for me, its like being on the outside looking in, like theres a neighborhood birthday party for all the kids, but they wont invite you cause youre too little and youd ruin all their fun.

and im sitting here gobbling gummy bears and downing nyquil trying to put myself to sleep. its not working yet.
