2002-05-15 10:09 p.m. wow. i slept fourteen hours yesterday. i actually started dozing off in the car on the way home from nockamixon state park and then as soon as i got in the house and stopped concentrating on small tasks like picking up branches in the yard, my head was just pounding. so i went to bed around four and didnt get up til six this morning. and even then i still didnt want to get up. i prolly could have stayed in bed another four hours or so. but i learned an awful lot yesterday about plants and geology and soil. and today was a lot better in the office...i guess it really is my own cubicle now, since i have the phone number for my mom to call stuff. its bigger than my moms cubicle over at reed smith. but still, its a cubicle. i work in a cubicle farm with a bunch of autocad loving engineers. ick. im trying to teach myself microsoft office access so ill have something to do next week when mr snyder goes on vacation. im not really sure i like this feeling of going to work and not being busy. i kinda hope it picks up soon... oh yeah. good thing i got that lymerix vaccine, cause we found a deer tick yesterday. i also got to use a digital camera to take pictures of the endangered phlox pilosa along the roadside. |
